A Case of Jejunal Adenomas Treated by Percutaneous Transhepatic Choledochoscopy Using Snare Resection and Argon Plasma Coagulation after Photodynamic Therapy for Biliary Papillomatosis

ABSTRACT
Biliary papillomatosis is a premalignant lesion that showing numerous papillomas on intrahepatic and/or extrahepatic bile duct. Hepatectomy or Liver transplantation is commonly accepted therapeutical options, however, endoscopic local treatment or only biliary drainage may be applied to the patient in inoperable status. Repeated local treatments for residual lesions may be permit long-term survival in patients who are not suitable for operation. We experienced a case of multiple jejunal adenomas that were successfully treated with snare resection and argon plasma coagulation via percutaneous transhepatic choledochoscopy, which occurred around the hepatico-jejunostomy site after photodynamic therapy for biliary papillomatosis.
