ABSTRACT
Pancreatic cystic lesions are being diagnosed with increasing frequency because of an increased use of abdominal imaging. Pancreatic cyst can either be neoplastic or non-neoplastic. Accurate cyst categorization is important since non-neoplastic cysts require treatment only if symptomatic, whereas some of the pancreatic cystic neoplasms have significant malignant potential and should be resected. This article will review the clinical features of the common pancreatic cystic neoplasms and provides comprehensive clinical approaches on how to manage the individual lesions.
